Simple Bow Tie Noodles

  • 250g bow tie noodles
  • 2 - 4 tsp butter (can be salted or unsalted, as you prefer)
  • 3 Tbsp grated medium-tasty yellow cheese (bergama or izmir tulum are most popular for this dish)
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  1. Boil the noodles in salted water according to the packet until 'al dente'
  2. Strain quickly, do not wash
  3. Immediately fold through 2 to 4 teaspoons of butter to your taste
  4. Fold through the grated cheese
  5. Plate the noodles and grind black pepper generously over each dish
  6. Taste before adding salt as some cheeses are salty already
